Working With Children Check for all Senior Members (Cost $80)
Football NSW has introduced a new Working with Children Check Policy which will apply to the 2018/19 futsal season. All referees, will now require a WWC number (E) with the only exemption recognised by Football NSW persons aged under 18 years.
For the 2018/19 season and beyond, it is a therefore now a requirement all referees obtain a WWCC (E) and provide NSW Futsal Referees Association with a valid WWC number (Employee) to complete their registration. Members aged under 18 years remain exempt.
If you are unsure if your paid WWCC is still valid, please use this link to check
If you do not already have a paid WWCC, you will need to obtain one prior to the start of the season. Here are the steps you need to follow:
- Use this link and use the “Apply for a WWCC” section of the Service NSW website.
- Select “Apply for your Check”. Complete the online form ensuring you use the exact name on your identity documents
- Visit a Service NSW centre with your identity documents and pay the applicable fee, which is $80 for a paid WWCC. This is payable at the time of verifying your documents with Service NSW.
We strongly recommend that if you do not have a paid WWCC, you do this ASAP, to make the registration process as easy as possible for yourself and the Registrar. If you have any questions or issues relating to the new WWCC Policy, you can contact the registrar.
We look forward to seeing you back on the pitch again soon.
