In April, NSWFRA members and FIFA Futsal Referees Ryan Shepheard and Andrew Best officiated at the Asian Football Confederation Futsal Asian Cup in Thailand.

Ryan said the Australian referees received positive feedback on their performances and progressed to a group of 16 referees that AFC has nominated for the upcoming FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan.

Eight AFC referees will ultimately be chosen to go to the World Cup in September - good luck Ryan and Andrew!
